Civil Legal Aid Providers Related to This Geographic Area

Access to Justice (SD) -- The State Bar of South Dakota formed Access to Justice ("A2J"), which provides free and reduced fee legal services to the poor, elderly, veterans, disabled and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Alaska Legal Services Corporation -- Statewide, private, nonprofit law firm founded 1967 that provides civil legal aid through 11 offices.

Allegany Law Foundation (MD) -- Since 1997, provides free and reduced-fee civil legal assistance to clients in Allegany County in Western Maryland. Based in Cumberland, MD.

California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation (CRLAF) -- Statewide non-profit organization providing legal services and policy advocacy for California’s rural poor. Headquartered in Sacramento with an office in Fresno.

California Rural Legal Assistance Inc. (CRLA) -- Founded in 1966 as a nonprofit legal services program, CRLA has 21 offices and strives for economic justice and human rights on behalf of California's rural poor.

Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) (Vermont) -- Nonprofit formed in 1965 to carry out the Economic Opportunity Act in Vermont’s Northwest Counties of Addison, Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle.

DNA People’s Legal Services (Southwest US) -- Nonprofit legal aid provider in in remote portions of AZ, NM and UT and seven Native American nations. Protects civil rights, promotes tribal sovereignty.

Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) -- Covers rural Georgia - not Atlanta metro area.

Legal Services of North Dakota (LSND) -- Provides civil legal aid statewide from offices in Bismarck, Minot, Fargo, Belcourt and New Town.
