Through direct legal help and statewide advocacy, the Michigan Advocacy Program provides access to the justice system for those who need it the most.

MAP also provides administrative services to a number of independent statewide programs, including the Michigan Poverty Law Program; the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center; the Michigan Foreclosure Prevention Project; the Michigan Elder Justice Initiative; and the Michigan Legal Help Program. These statewide programs are all housed at Michigan PLP, LLC.
