Dr. Julie Macfarlane is Director of the National Self-Represented Litigants Project (NSRLP), which is based in Canada. She is Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Windsor as well as Professor of Practice at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Julie has researched and written extensively on dispute resolution and in particular the role of lawyers (for example her 2008 book “The New Lawyer : How Settlement is Transforming the Practice of Law”). She is an experienced mediator, facilitator and conflict resolution educator.
