Mary Frances Charlton of the Legal Aid Justice Center said more than 280,000 Virginians who were receiving subsidies through the federal market place would have lost that assistance.
Charlton said the Legal Aid Justice Center has helped more than 1,000 people get health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.
She said the Supreme Court’s decision will go a long way for those people and their families.
