In the aftermath of the housing crisis, Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma faced a surge in the number of people losing their homes in foreclosure.

But with the last rush nearly two years ago, the number of Oklahomans asking for help had finally started to ebb, said Laura Frossard, the foreclosure law advocacy coordinator for Legal Aid. At least until recently.

“We’re now starting to get more foreclosure cases than we used to,” she said. “It’s not like it was two years ago, but it’s inching back up.”
