DETAILS
Civil legal services provides access to the justice system for the most vulnerable Minnesotans in all 87 counties. It provides high-quality legal representation to those who cannot afford it, serving 47,000 Minnesota families and individuals in 2015. Legal service attorneys help victims of domestic violence find safety, help seniors and people with disabilities access services and benefits and help families secure and maintain safe and stable housing. Civil legal services also helps keep our court system more efficient by resolving some cases for clients out of court and ensuring efficient use of resources when cases come to court.
