Congress should restore full funding to a program that helps ensure ‘Justice for all’

In 2017, Scalia’s words are more important than ever, as funding for the federally created LSC, which has seen bipartisan support for decades, has been threatened to be reduced to zero in ongoing federal budget discussions in Washington.

LSC was established in 1974 by Congress as a nonprofit provider of legal support, working with 133 state programs, including the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN).

Its motto is simple: America’s Partner for Equal Justice.
