A Gregg County judge effectively rejected an eviction notice Thursday against Morgan, a federal housing voucher client who had been ordered to leave the Longview home where she complained of numerous maintenance concerns.

Lone Star Legal Aid appealed the case to County Court-at-Law No. 2 Judge Vincent Dulweber, who overturned the eviction Thursday — giving Morgan, her 6-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter at least another week at the Jefferson Street residence.
