With more than 40 percent of U.S. renter households at risk of eviction, legal aid attorneys and other housing advocates are trying to work out what the new CDC-declared temporary national eviction moratorium really means. As always, it’s safe to say that tenants who have civil legal help will have a much better shot at a fair and just outcome.
