National Reentry Week an opportunity to spotlight civil legal aid

April 4, 2016 - 3:49 pm
First-ever National Reentry Week, April 24-30, creates an opening in local media markets to draw attention to the important role of civil legal aid in helping people successfully build stable lives after paying their debts to society.

The U.S. Department of Justice has declared April 24-30 the first-ever National Reentry Week. This creates an opening in local media markets for opinion pieces, news stories, and social media (you may have additional ideas) that draw attention to the important role of civil legal aid in helping people successfully build stable lives after paying their debts to society. If you are interested in working with Voices on an op-ed or other piece that highlights the role of civil legal aid in reentry (particularly as part of federally funded partnerships/collaborations), please reach out. We are eager to help you take advantage of this opportunity.
